The rapper took to Twitter and shared a snippet of his video rapping as he made it clear that he is paying tribute to the late rapper ProKid. He captioned; “THIS ONE IS LINDA! #RIPPRO.” It’s been four years now since the passing of Prod Kid and Sizwe Alakine made it a point to pay his respect to one of his iconic SA hip-hop artists.

Prior to his tribute to the late rapper, Reason took to Twitter and shared a screenshot from Google that showed the date ProKid passed away. The rapper made it clear that he is going to celebrate him for everything he was taught by ProKid and that he has fulfilled his promise. “THIS MONDAY, 8 AUGUST… I CELEBRATE YOU AND EVERYTHING YOU TAUGHT ME!“

Reason has gotten some flak for dabbling in Amapiano, but he hopes that one day, like Prokid and HHP, he will be recognized for his efforts in both genres.
