This time, the famed producer has his admirers waiting for the release of his latest body of work, which may not materialize this year.

Taking to Twitter, Makwa expressed his frustration as he revealed that he could not get the collaborations he wanted for his music project. “I couldn’t Get the features that I wanted on this project.” Tweeted Makwa. Makwa had to make a difficult choice because he was unable to secure the features he desired for his music project, and he decided not to release his album this year.

Taking to Instagram, the award-winning producer announced that he won’t be releasing his album this year. “I won’t be releasing my album this year,” he wrote. Makwa has been showing no interest in making music recently, this came after he was asked by one of his fans to drop a music project. In response he said; “I don’t know about making music anymore bro.”

The well-known hip-hop producer has said that his past troubles have left him mentally handicapped and that his reputation has been ruined as a result. This came after people have been calling him a drug addict following his past experience with drug abuse.

“This has really hurt my image I mean I’ve even neglected myself because I’m like what the point of looking fresh whilst I’ll be called a drug addict,” he said.
