A-Reece recently had a rather controversial freestyle on the BET cypher which caused tension between him and Cassper. Although the rapper has admitted that Cassper was once his idol, he seemed to take shots at Cassper. As A-Reece was wrapping up his BET freestyle, he mentioned how Hip Hop is influenced by Kwaito which is what Cassper is doing on his upcoming album.
“Record companies spend millions to get people talking. I just have to say the word Kwaito and all of a sudden it’s an interesting topic. Crazy huh? POWER! New album on the way,” read Cassper’s tweet after he had trended for a day because of the situation with A-Reece.
