CloutCassette Publicly Cuts Ties With Maglera Doe Boy In Explosive Fallout

The once close connection between Maglera Doe Boy and Morale Phala of CloutCassette has recently come under public scrutiny. What began as a collaborative partnership has now deteriorated, with tensions and disagreements making rounds on social media.

Morale Phala recently posted a statement on social media, announcing: “I will no longer be associated with Maglera Doe Boi.” In the same message, he acknowledged, “He has been good to me,” but added, “I feel like I’ve overlooked a lot & have let a lot of things pass while bottling them up.” He described the decision as personal and firm, stating, “I am cutting ties completely,” and made it clear that any future collaboration would be, “via an agency. No other way.”

Days after Morale’s initial post, he shared a video message that had been sent to him privately by Maglera. In the clip, Maglera appeared to be addressing the situation directly, expressing remorse and providing context for his actions.

In the video, Maglera said: “Nothing is more painful than me calling you out of love and then you tell me the things you hate.” He also addressed a financial matter mentioned between them, stating:
“I never wanted to owe you a rand, 15 bands is not a crazy amount, I was just so overwhelmed by everything I was doing.” He concluded with an apology: “We’re good, I’m sorry about everything but you must just know I never wanted to do that to you.”

The message appeared to be an attempt to acknowledge the situation from Maglera’s perspective, noting personal struggles and stress that may have affected their professional dynamic.

Morale responded by posting the video publicly, adding a caption that expressed his own stance and experience during their time working together. In the caption, he wrote: “Really thought you were my mate. But it’s time for me to face reality.” He went on to question claims Maglera had allegedly made about their creative work: “You said you directed the PUMA campaign we did? How?”

Further addressing the breakdown of their relationship, Morale added: “You’ve never been my co-director bro. Ever. & you are certainly not my mate. I feel like you’ve manipulated me countlessly, pretending to be a real n*gga to me.”

The post highlighted the disconnect in how each person viewed their roles in past projects, as well as how their relationship had evolved or deteriorated over time. While Maglera appeared to be seeking reconciliation, Morale used the moment to clarify boundaries and call out unresolved issues from his perspective.

The nature of the posts has left followers and peers observing without clear resolution. As of now, Maglera has not issued a public statement addressing the situation beyond the video message that was shared by Morale.
