“Ive been harassed by COPS twice in a week for being black” Says Riky Rick
At it’s core, Hip Hop is a revolutionary genre that was born as a way to stand up against authority and spread knowledge about the system and how it was treating black people like they are worthless. With all the success the genre has today, the black community is still dealing with the same issues and rappers continue to confront these issues.
Riky Rick came to instagram to speak about how cops in SA still harass black people without even feeling the need to explaining why. “Ive been harassed by COPS twice in a week for being black. I am tired of POLICE stopping us and not being man enough to explain why” said Riky.
“Its like being young, black and living your life automatically makes you a drug dealer or suspicious. POLICE need to stop that kak!!! POLICE dont stop young white people driving nice cars. They are looking for blacks coz they think we are all thiefs. F$ck that” Riky Rick explained.
