Fresh Start, New Music: Roiii Announces Forthcoming Debut Album. In SA Hip Hop, anticipation often mounts when an artist makes their mark on the scene with a unique sound and style. Such is the case with the rising star Roiii who has released a string of single tracks that have made him a notable addition to the Mzansi rap culture.

His understanding of drill sound and infusion of rap in his music has made him garner a great following in SA Hip Hop. However, with all the singles he has released, the Lavida Loca hitmaker is now setting his eyes on dropping a full-fledged music project.

Taking to Twitter (X), Roiii announced that he is currently working on his debut album as he gives his fans an update on his current setting in the music industry. “Working on my first album. That’s where I’m at,” Roiii announced.

The Pretoria-based rapper’s new album announcement came following his departure from K.O’s Skhanda World Record label last month. Roiii announced his departure from the stable citing gratitude to K.O for giving him to chance to prove himself in the competitive SA Hip Hop space which he did profoundly.

“After careful consideration, together we would love to formally make news about the parties (Skhanda World & Roiii) having come to an end of their collaborative agreement,” read the statement.

“After much success during our contractual agreement, we came to a mutual understanding and no animosity is shared. We would love to thank “citizens and the “Rillas for all the love and support, it needs to stop now. This is not the end of the brotherhood but an opportunity for individual growth. The Journey Continues, Skhanda World x Roiii.”
