Cruz Africa Shares His View On Emtee’s DIY Receiving Best Hip Hop Album Nomination

Last week Friday the SAMAs released the nominees for the upcoming 2019 show to take place in May. Unfortunately while others were excited about the nominees, others were left disappointed.

Cruz Afrika who has rather a bitter history with Emtee shared how his album DIY nominated under Best Hip Hip Album was undeserving. On a tweet posted over the past weekend he highlighted how DIY is an EP and not an album, and further stated that SAMAs constantly nominate the same people every year.

“The list doesn’t represent.independent artists and its so wrong,number 1 Emtee does not have an album DIY was an Ep and he was not even on top 10 submissions … y’all talking about recognise while u put the same people every year. Am sorry but i had 2 voice out my opinion,” wrote Cruz Afrika.
