Cassper Shares How He Feels About Drake’s New Album. Drake’s new album Honestly, Never Mind has triggered a lot of negative reactions upon its release. The rapper dropped a 13-track album with South Africa’s Black Coffee producing 3 of the songs.

In the midst of all the negativity toward the project, Cassper took to Twitter and expressed how he is feeling toward Drake’s new body of work.

“I been jamming this new Drake album and it makes me feel like taking a young Spura to the Darkside. Just schepel Ibiza to shake Lebondaz lat te peit kom.” Tweeted Cassper.

When the album was released, Cassper expressed his support to Black Coffee for co-producing parts of the songs, stating that it is an exciting time to be alive. “Drake just dropped a full Dance album and Black Coffee production very heavy on that. What a time.“

Cassper might be enjoying the new Drake album, but he doesn’t share the same sentiment with some of his peers in the SA music industry. Upon the release of Honestly, Never Mind, NOTA was amongst the people who criticized the project.

The music executive admitted that DJ Maphorisa and Makwa might have done a better job on the album’s production. “Look what Maphorisa did with a Camino Del Sol bootleg. How Makwa interpolated the chords progression from Spirit Chaser or how he set up Gemini Major with a classic on AKA’s Energy… Those guys will house you, literally give you hits that put a roof over your head. Drake missed!” Tweeted NOTA.

In the wake of all the criticism he has got, Drake came out and mentioned that it’s all good if people are criticizing his project. In a video taken at Drake’s Honestly, Nevermind album release party, the musician says to the camera: “It’s all good if you don’t get it yet. It’s all good. That’s what we do. That’s what we do. We wait for you to catch up. We’re in here, though. We’re caught up already. On to the next.”
