Cassper Nyovest Reacts To Burna Boy’s Song About AKA. Afrobeat sensation Burna Boy left music lovers somewhat puzzled following his eerie tribute song to AKA. Cassper Nyovest is also among the people who believe that Burna Boy‘s remarks towards Kiernan Forbes’ death were insensitive. Speaking during an interview with SA Hip Hop Mag at the Sprite LimeLight event Mufasa said that Burna’s remarks did not come from a bad place rather his timing was wrong.

“It’s a sensitive matter and you have to really think about what you say,” Cassper said. Responding to whether what Burna Boy said was wack, Nyovest came to Burna’s defence and said; “people have their own opinions, that’s why I’m saying it sensitive.

“I’m sure it didn’t come from a bad place. I’m sure he didn’t wake up like I’m gonna say some wild sh*t. He woke up and expressed himself this is what I remember the last time I had a conversation but because of how sensitive the situation is, it was also the timing and all of those things.”

Cassper also explained why he waited a few days before expressing his feelings of grief following AKA’s death. The Tito Mboweni hitmaker stated that nothing he would have said would have changed the situation, therefore his choice to wait.

“When we heard the news, I didn’t say anything for a few days because there was nothing I could’ve said that was not going to be turned around. Even if I just said rest in peace it could’ve been (“you were not cool with the dude you trying to act”). Cassper said.

“So I was just like let me just keep quiet and I will say something whenever I feel strong to say something. It’s sensitive, and it’s a very sad sad situation.”
