“Let’s Rise Up” By ProVerb & Nasty C [Video]

Proverb and Nasty C have come together for a youth campaign called Let’s Rise up. There is no question that the South African youth in 2016 have way more opportunities as compared to the South African youth of yester-years and the legendary Proverb and Nasty C have come together to tell a story about how different today is to the past.

Proverb who blew up as a Hip Hop artist in 2003 talks about how many doors they had to break down that are open to the youth of today and Nasty C on the other hand focuses on the opportunities the youth of today have.

MTV Africa & MTV Base present a 2016 Youth Month campaign focusing on encouraging South African youth to take up the calling to rise up to their destinies. Youth Day is on June 16th, a day to commemorate the lives lost of young people during the Soweto Uprising on 1976.
