Where do you see yourself in 5-7 years?

“I would’ve done a lot of stadiums I think, a lot of awards, you and I would be pretty far by then and have a lot of stuff done. A lot of progress. I don’t like to jinx things but I am putting myself in a corner by saying I want to do stadiums because I really want to.”

In the long run, does he see himself as a record-making artist or will he venture into other spaces in the industry?

“I’m not talkative enough… A lot of artists, if they do anything other than rapping, they end up as judges, presenters, or acting and stuff. I’m not good at that, I’m just good at making music. I won’t be talking too much. I just do interviews for the fans because they want to know what I’m thinking.”

What are some of your greatest achievements?

“There’s a few, The B4Now tour is a big one for me it wasn’t that long after the album dropped. I didn’t give people time to think about it. The BET Nomination was also cool.”

How do you approach vulnerability in your lyrics and what does it mean to you?

“I dont like being tough in my songs, I dont think that’s me. I guess only maybe like when I’m rapping, I’ve realised that the softer songs, the more emotional songs, that’s what people like and that’s what I like too. I like recording those types of songs more than rapping.”
