Reason is one of the famed rappers and amapiano sensation who has expressed the intricacies that come with being famous. Taking to Instagram, the rapper expressed that it’s not all rosey being famous opening up that it is very painful. “iFame ib’hlungu guys,” which translates to “Fame is painful guys,” he wrote.

Reason is among the South African rappers who have savoured success during the peak of South African Hip Hop, spanning from its heydays until the emergence of Amapiano. With all that he has contributed to the culture, he has also been doing exceptionally well for the Yano wave.
Despite expressing feelings of dismay about fame, Sizwe Alakine conveyed in an interview on Turbang Studios that he is determined to achieve a successful festive season. The 36-year-old rapper said that he is going to be the most overrated artist by end of the year. Reason said that he has been cooking good music for the festive season indicating that he will be making waves as we head towards the end of the year.
“I’ve been cooking, I’m done in the kitchen now, I’m taking it out the oven now letting it set you know, I’m about to dish it out,” he said. I’m gonna be the most overrated artist by the end of the year. I mean overrated, 2023, you just going to see me anywhere unnecessarily,” Reason added.
