Jub Jub and MacG discussed a variety of subjects in the now-famous episode, some of which led to women speaking out against Jub Jub and accusing him of rape. Jub Jub claimed in the interview that his ex-partner Kelly Khumalo uses “muti.” The rapper and television presenter alleged that his girlfriend, Amanda Du Pont, left him because of Kelly’s muti.

In the wake of all this, Jub Jub has issued an apology to Kelly Khumalo. This comes after City Press published that Aubrey Tau, the founder and CEO of Moja Love, did give the Uyajola 99 host an edict to apologize to Kelly Khumalo for implying she uses “muti” if he wanted to come back to the television show.

Nonetheless, in a statement released on Jub Jub’s Twitter account, the rapper revealed that he want to apologise to Kelly Khumalo for the ruthless comments he made on the MacG Podcast. Jub Jub stated in his statement that he sincerely hopes to obtain a co-parenting agreement with Kelly.

“I am hoping and most importantly praying that you and I will one day reach an amicable solution to co-parent our champ. All I beg for is an opportunity to be part of his life.

“You are the mother of my son and I have a lot of respect for you. In me trying to set the record straight about me being absent father to my son or me not caring or loving him, a lot of wrong happened in a short space of time during that interview.” He said.

The rapper has also pleaded for his privacy as he aims to make amends with Kelly outside of the public space. He revealed that he is also aiming to undergo sensitivity classes in a bid to work on himself.
