DJ Citi Lyts Says He Hopes He’ll Get A Thank You For Making Emtee’s ‘Roll Up’ Music Video Possible. DJ Citi Lyts has been active in the music industry for some time now and has been instrumental in creating some SA Hip Hop bangers that fans loved.

Star music video director Ofentse Mwase took to twitter to reminisce about multi award winning rapper Emtee’s music video shoot for his debut single Roll Up. He posted images from the music video shoot and said the whole trap industry was in the music video.

DJ Citi Lyts commented on Mwase’s post saying that he hopes he’ll get a thank you for making the music video possible from the clothing to the music video’s launch. His tweet read, “6 YEARS LATER! I HOPE ONE DAY I’LL GET A THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO POSSIBLE FROM THE DRIP TO THE LAUNCH. Ninjaz forget easily.”

Award winning rapper and vocalist Sjava, also reminisced on the music video shoot saying that he had to take a taxi to get to the music video shoot.

DJ Citi Lyts and Emtee have worked together on a number of SA Hip Hop bangers while the two were still at Ambitiouz Entertainment. The two worked together on Washa and Malambane.

DJ Citi Lyts recently ran a talent search competition for up and upcoming artists in the Hip Hop, Amapiano and Afro Trap genres. The winners of the competition get a chance to record with Citi Lyts himself, a music video and a chance to record with a full production with Tweezy.

The DJ featured on King Sweetkid’s single Ek Se and has not mentioned if he plans to drop any solo music in 2021. Although he has only released singles could fans expect a full length project from him?
