#TBT: Jozi – Muthaland Video
Our #TBT today is Jozi’s smash hit single titled Muthaland. The group was the one group that held down SA Hip Hop for a while and they had managed to get the perfect balance between Hip Hop music and African music.
The group came up at a time when there was a stigma around being a Hip Hop artist because Hip Hop was considered to be a foreign culture and I would say Jozi are partly responsible for the shift in the perception of the genre in the local market.
