Reason Shares Progress On His Upcoming Album Under Warner Music. Reason’s work has topped the charts in the mainstream media, making him a household name in the SA music industry. In preparation for his new release, the Ujola Nobani hitmaker has teamed up with Warner Music South Africa.

Taking to Twitter, Reason shared the progress he has made on his upcoming project under the global record label. With his fans highly anticipating his first project under a global music label, they shouldn’t wait any longer until they start enjoying the good sounds from the famed rapper. “Played the project for @WarnerMusicSA today. We are 95% there.” Tweeted Reason.

The rapper teased the music that is yet to be released on his Instagram stories and it’s clear that Mzansi is in for a treat. It’s still not clear whether Reason will have rap sounds on his upcoming project since he has been more of an amapiano artist recently.

During an interview with SowetanLive publication, the rapper made it known that his move to join amapiano genre does not change his commitment to the rap culture. He further revealed that he can still rap in an amapiano sound.

“A lot of people know Reason as an iconic rapper in the hip-hop culture, so I’d never disappear or leave that genre. What many aren’t aware of though is that Sizwe Alakine also raps but on an amapiano beat,” he said. “I might surprise you and feature Sizwe Alakine on Reason’s songs… who knows?” Reason revealed.
