“I’m literally smoking every second” – Flvme On His Smoking Habits. It’s no surprise that weed and music go hand in hand. This has always been the case in terms of culture and history. Several world-famous artists have even ascribed their talent to cannabis. In SA Hip-hop quite a number of rappers are chain smokers with the likes of Emtee and A-Reece being the most talked about.

Speaking during an interview on The Modern Man Podcast, Flvme admitted that he is always puffing a blunt every chance he got. This came after he was asked if he smokes often. “Do you smoke often bro?” In response, Flvme said; “yeah I’m literally smoking every second I get to smoke,” he said.

The rapper made it clear that he is more into smoking weed even though he smokes cigarettes sometimes since he is working on cutting that down. “Weed for sure, I do smoke cigarettes for sure, I’m trying to cut that down, so I will be smoking vapes. I think vapes just make me smoke less cigarettes, not saying I’m not smoking cigarettes, I’m just smoking less now because of vapes.”

Flvme also claimed that because of his delicate vocal cords and intense love for singing, smoking makes it difficult for him to perform. “For me also it’s like because I love singing and I have very sensitive vocal cords so now smoking just makes it even worse. Like me just singing three songs on stage my voice is finished,” he added.

Flvme has developed a ton of talented music projects and has made a significant contribution to South African hip-hop. Artists from other countries have acknowledged their admiration for the rapper and he has claimed to be the best in Africa
