“The only trap music I’m interested in making is local trap music” Says AKA. We haven’t heard AKA rapping on an AKA song and it’s Trap since he released Run Jozi. The Supa Mega is known for making songs that come to stay and because of the quality of his music he gets a lot of airplay.

The rapper hasn’t been a fan of making Trap music the same way most of the rappers in South Africa have jumped on to that wave. AKA says he is only interested in making Trap records for the local market because he has global goals.

“The only trap music I’m interested in making is local trap music ….. Because locally, that’s what people seem to like” said AKA. “If you hear me on a trap beat just know that I made that song for a South African audience. Now THAT is irony” he continued.
