SA Rappers React To Hugh Masekela’s Passing! Hugh Masekela is a legendary jazz musician who is a hero of sorts to the South African community. The musician passed on recently at the age of 78 years and this took South Africa on a an instant social media frenzy.
“After a protracted and courageous battle with prostate cancer, he passed peacefully in Johannesburg, South Africa, surrounded by his family,” said the late jazz musicians family members. Twitter has been blowing up since the news got out.
