The award-winning producer has completed a plethora of projects mainly in SA hip hop working with a slew of rappers. His magic touch and his ability to align the music chords has earned him the top seat in the game.
Recently, the producer was appreciated for the work he has done. He was blessed with his own plaque for the hit song he produced for Kid X “Mntano Muntu” after it goes platinum. With all the reputation that he carries in the hip hop culture, Makwa seems not to put the foot on the pedal to halt his progress. The producer is already planning and ironing out his music projects for the upcoming year.
Makwa took to twitter to share with his South African music fans that he will dropping double dumber music projects to keep on expanding the music space in Mzansi. “I have more than 1K beats and beats with just hooks over 500. Next year I’m dropping 3 hip hop albums and 2 ama piano albums.” Tweeted Makwa.
With the projects that he has mentioned, its clear that the producer is ready to take Mzansi by storm with good music as usual. This time around the producer has decided to jump into the Amapiano genre and its clear that most music followers will be eagerly waiting to see if Makwa will give them an Amapiano hit. Nonetheless, Makwa has had a fall out with DJ Maphorisa recently but the two have decided to iron out their issues, hence could this be reason why Makwa is eyeing to work on an Amapiano album?
