AKA Shares How He Feels About Fans Who Cry When Meeting Him. Even though many of us strive to be ready for the day we meet someone we admire, we never envisage being in the situation of being visibly flustered.

A fan who recently met AKA was emotionally evocative after meeting the rapper for the first time. In a video that circulated on social media a fan broke into tears embracing the SuperMega at an event. AKA recently took to Twitter and shared how he feels about fans who shed tears when they meet him.

The rapper made it known that people must be able to put themselves together and avoid falling onto their knees and crying when they meet him. “Falling to your knees and crying your eyes out as a grown man when you meet me is a bit over the top. Pull yourself together man.” Tweeted AKA.

In another tweet, The World Is Yours singer added that while it’s fine to be emotional after meeting him, he’s against fans who prostrate themselves and worship him as if he’s Jesus. “There’s nothing wrong with shedding a young tear or being emotional. But then there’s literally throwing yourself on the ground like I’m Jesus or something. That shit is cringe as f*ck.” Added AKA.

Despite expressing himself, one of AKA’s big fans did not agree with the rapper’s sentiment towards how fans should react when they meet him. “I don’t agree with you on this one. You can’t dictate how people should react when they meet you. Honestly, fave, it’s bad enough that the guy was trolled all week long, I can’t begin to imagine how he must be feeling now.” Responded one of AKA’s fans.

AKA still did not agree, as he mentioned that he feels the reaction of a fan who cried upon meeting him was exaggerated. “We can agree to disagree. Personally I thought it was a bit over the top.” AKA responded.
