Lucasraps Speaks On How He Maintains A ‘Clean Image’ In SA Hip hop. Lucasraps has been one of the rappers who ruled out their chances of jumping into the Amapiano bandwagon. The rapper has been focused on his raps as a way of maintaining his image in the game.

During an interview with SlikourOnLife, the rapper was asked how he has managed to maintain a clean image in the South African hip-hop scene. “Before you met your management, maybe someone else who just wants to rap, how important was it though and what did you do to kinda clean up your image so someone can see Lucas and go Lucas can possibly be that?” Asked Slikour.

Lucasraps revealed that he started to be more responsible in a bid to maintain a clean image in the rap game. “I just started being more responsible with the power I was getting that’s all,” he said. The Durban rapper further explained that he has the power to influence anyone around him and it’s up to him to use his power in a more responsible manner.

“You can influence someone to do something stupid, don’t do that if you gonna be stupid,” he explained. “Don’t make someone go stupid that’s sad because I’m gonna do something stupid people are gonna f*** with it, people are gonna want to be stupid to impress you, control it, understand your power, don’t play with it,” he said.
