K.O Opens Up About Cashtime Reunion & Why The Music Was Taken Down From Digital Platforms. The Supa Dupa hit-maker caught himself once more in a position where he was expected to clarify if Cashtime would ever reunite despite past debacle.

TshisaLIVE had a sit down with the rapper who just released all Cashtime music on digital platforms after they had been taken down a while ago. He explained that the reason behind the take down was because of an expired contract but they had managed to make a new partnership with Africorri which availed the music once again.

Touching on the topic of the reunion of the Cashtime group the rapper made it clear they will never reunite.

“Nothing has changed except for the fact that our music is back up on streaming platforms and available for all those who want it. CashTime is not ‘back together’ and there aren’t plans to do that. However, all the great music that made CashTime what it was to the culture, is now available.”

In addition he expressed how excited he was with the reactions from fans who were glad to hear the music they once loved back for convenient access on digital media.

“Getting all the comments and people telling me what that album, in particular, did for them or how many of the songs out of CashTime are still their favourite songs really felt amazing. It made me appreciate all over again what we, as a unit, were trying to do, which was produce timeless music.”

K.O is working on an album set to release in September as third solo album.
