#TBT: Cassper Nyovest – Gusheshe Video [ft Okmalumkoolkat ]
In 2016, Csasper Nyovest is so far gone with his career and it’s crazy because the man only had his breakthrough single in 2013. The rapper has done things that had never been done by any other SA musician, I mean ever and that alone makes him one of the biggest musicians to ever come out of SA period.
Gusheshe was one of the singles that changed the game and helped wake rappers up. The record has a Kwaito vibe to it even though it was still very much a Hip Hop song and after this song there was no turning back for Cassper.
Gusheshe caught on to the people pretty quick which I personally would credit to how authentic the sound was and the masses could also identify themselves with the lingo he used on the record. Okmalumkoolkat was featured on the song and held down the last verse. Check out the Gusheshe video below:
