Rouge Gets Nominated For Best Female Rap Act At The Afrimma's 2020

Rouge is flying the banner high for the women of hip hop in Mzansi as she has a lot to celebrate in her successful career as well as her recent nod at this years Afrimma’s for the “Best Female Rap Act” in South Africa, which  she is still trying to wrap her head around.

Rouge shared the exciting news on social media claiming that she is honored just for the recognition, but winning the award wouldn’t be a bad idea if it were to happen.

“So Ive been Nominated for the #afrimma2020 awards as best Female Rap act…! This already is such an honor but it doesn’t hurt to try and go for it” Rouge said.

The “Dololo” rapper is up against some of Africa’s talented and respected femcee’s such as Tanzania’s Rosa Ree, Ugandan rapper Keko and many more. What we found interesting is Nadia Nakai who is the only other Mzansi contender in the same category which could make things interesting considering their alleged beef.

During an interview with MacG on “Podcast and Chill” , Rouge cleared the air once again on rumors claiming that her and Bragga had some bad blood between them, stating that although they aren’t friends, they do respect one another’s hustle in the game and it’s frustrating when people randomly start fires were there was no smoke to begin with.

“Honestly speaking, there is no beef. There is no problem between Nadia and I. It gets really frustrating, the fact that people are trying to create beef. It’s very very annoying” Rouge said.
