The song has amassed a good reception following its release and it has been nominated at the Sound City Awards. Taking to Twitter, one of the tweeps shared the music awards flyer urging fans to vote for Lemons Lemonade with only Nasty C being the face of the song without AKA. “Ok but no AKA?” Read the tweet.

Tweeps have been left with so many questions as Nasty C has been presented as the owner of AKA’s Lemons Lemonade at the Sound City Awards. Taking from the comments, some are speculating that Nasty C might be getting the award for having the best verse on the song, whilst others lamented how the song title was written.

The song apparently went gold in September, and AKA shared the news with his followers while saying that he is awaiting official certification from the Recording Industries South Africa (RISA). The song has been up there competing with K.O’s SETE on the South African Radio Charts.

The Supa Mega has made it known to his fans that they should look forward to his long-awaited album this month. The rapper reversed the release date as he stated that he was working on the final touches of his music project.
