Nadia Nakai Opens Up About Meeting Her Father For The First Time After 33 Years. Nadia Nakai has recently shared a deeply personal experience with her fans as she revealed that she met her father for the first time in over three decades.

The famed rapper has always made her fans know about her relationship with her mother’s side of the family. At the same time, she has not shared much about her father’s side until recently during an interview with Zingah on Choppin It With Bhuda T Podcast.

Nadia Nakai said that her father is alive and he resides in Canada and he often visit South Africa since his wife stays in Boksburg. “I actually met him recently, after 33 years. It was actually a good meeting, it was wholesome, it was nice I didnt have like anger or anything because i feel like i lived a good life with my mom. She raised me well, so i dont feel like i was loosing anything,” she said.

The award-winning rapper went on to say that she felt she needed to see her father because a lot had been going on in her life. “I think i just wanted to meet him because a lot was going on in my life. Things were just hectic, i just felt like i needed to find myself to myself,” said Nadia. “I event went to Zimbabwe, and i went to my granny, thats how much it starts. I had to see my granny, it was just a lot so that was part of like my healing process” she added.
