Cassper Shares More Details On The Release Of His First Sneaker! A few weeks ago, Cassper announced what he called “The Legacy Deal” in collaboration with businessman, Lekau Sehaone who is the founder of Drip Footwear. According to the rapper, the deal is worth R100 million and now they are on their way to launching their first Root of Fame product which is a sneaker.
The rapper has had plans of releasing his own sneakers before meeting up with Drip Footwear Sneakers for The Legacy deal. Drip Footwear known as the brand that is dedicated to working with customers to design the future is now signed under Family Tree which is no longer a record label only but now produces clothes. It has been 4 years now since the rapper launched his first Family Tree merchandise and now he gets to introduce the first merchandise of the Legacy deal.
A week ago after the President’s address, Cassper expressed how the move to Level 4 lockdown had affected the big launch and was forced to move it to a further date. Cassper has now taken to social media announcing that the launch is finally happening this coming Thursday the 8th of July 2021. “Im so f*cking hapoy!!! It’s now official. My first Sneaker will be dropping this Thursday. I am inviting you all to the #RootOfFameConference Thursday 18:00 . It’ll be a live streamed event and we will show the product and the name for the shoe for the very first time. Who is joining us? @rootoffame,” Cassper shared.
The deal is said to express black excellence. The collaboration of The Founder Of Drip Footwear Sneakers, Lekau Sehaone and Cassper is inspired by two entrepreneurs coming from different backgrounds. This has to obviously be Cass’ personal win in his list of achievements and many rappers have already given him props for his new deal for working on that generational worth.
