The South African rapper has been making waves in the music industry, and his new music is poised to maintain his good status quo in SA rap. Taking to Instagram, the young Durban rapper said that he is currently working on a new project and in the interim he has served up his fans with a double release titled Mac n’ Cheesee whilst waiting for a full project release.

“I wanna thank every single person that has streamed and watched the uMuthi Music Video. I thought since the best way I know to communicate with my fans is through the music, why don’t I give them a little bit more while I finish my project. So here’s the first gift from me to you: “MAC ‘n CHEESE” – food for the soul ‘OUT NOW’‼️exclusively on @soundcloud (where it all started)”

“1. GOUDA (ft. Wang & Ca$h Khali) 2. STARS IN THE SKY Beats made by @justdanbeats

Even though Lucasraps’ base continues to grow in the SA rap game, the rapper came out and said vehemently that he is the most hated rapper in South Africa. “I think I’m the most hated rapper in the game because I took all the risk, I’m not afraid of sh*t bro you understand,” he said. “I dont follow a procedure or follow a code or follow a blueprint, n*gga I’m the blueprint.”

During the interview, Lucasraps revealed that his song “Voodoo” was born from an experience where he personally encountered the effects of witchcraft.  I’ve never experienced weird weird sh*t happening in my life like that. That’s when it made me realise that okay cool, people are gonna try, the devil is gonna try, but they ain’t gonna win. That’s pretty much what I put in Voodo.” Lucasraps said.
