Tony Forbes On Why He Believes AKA & Anele Tembe Were Not A Good Match. The untimely passing of AKA and his fiancée Anele Tembe continues to resonate deeply, remaining a significant topic of discussion. Many are still grappling with unanswered questions surrounding the events that led to their tragic deaths, even though they occurred in different years.

Nevertheless, Anele’s death sparked widespread outrage, with AKA facing accusations of involvement in the demise of the prominent social media influencer. Speaking in a recent interview on Within With Hazel Podcast, AKA’s father Tony Forbes said that he doesn’t believe that his son AKA and Anele Tembe were good for each other.

Forbes noted that AKA and Anele were at divergent stages in their lives, making it challenging for their relationship to weather the personal transitions each was undergoing. “Personally, my view, Kiernan and Anele they were in different stages of their lives. This is my personal view and I dont speak for anybody else, I’m not sure that they were good for each other, as a father’s view,” Tony Forbes said.

Regarding the incident preceding Anele’s untimely death and the widely circulated images and footage of AKA breaking the door, Tony Forbes stated that there will be an inquest into Anele’s passing next year. He emphasized that this inquest will shed light on previously undisclosed aspects of the story, providing the world with a fuller understanding of the events leading up to Tembe’s tragic demise.

“There’s a context, so if you look at that video where he breaks down the door, it doesn’t show what happens after that. It doesn’t show what happened before, so you dont know why is he breaking down the door,” Tony Forbes said.

“I think that what has been put out into the public domain has been very one-sided and up until Kiernan’s passing he refused to speak out and bring out his side to the point of pointing out issues in Anele. So I think largely there’s a one-sided view of things and with time the other side of the story will be told. Naturally, it has been told as part of the inquest in Anele’s death,” Tony added.
