AKA Considers Changing His Stage Name And Explains Why

When AKA rose into fame it took a while until some people got used to his name but eventually it grew on them. Now he has been toying around with the idea that he will be changing his name to King Forbes.

The inspiration to change the name came from him wanting his name to reach the audience from across the world who he believes won’t find the name AKA attractive enough.

“I’m tryna break outside of South Ahh … for them “AKA” is a bit lame. ????I mean, KIERNAN FORBES or KEENAN FORBES, or “KING FORBES” sounds a bit better don’t you think … actually yah … King Forbes actually sounds lit.”
