Namibia Honours AKA With Pan African Artist Of The Year Award 2019

Namibia Honours AKA With Pan African Artist Of The Year Award 2019. Supa Mega has once more broken a record of history in SA Hip Hop by receiving one of the most prestigious awards.

Earlier this month AKA caught himself in an unfortunate predicament where Nigerians blamed him for being xenophobic. Around that time, Bhova travelled to a few various countries in Africa preaching one African love for all. His journey landed him in Namibia where he has a huge fan base.

Namibians showed more than love to AKA. They honoured him with Pan African Artist Of The Year Award of 2019. Pan Africanism is defined as the belief that people of African descent have common interests and should be unified. Historically, it has taken the shape of a poylitical or cultural movement. AKA seemed a better fit for all that he has done as an artist who is all about Africans uniting.

The allegations that he was xenophobic were subsided by the large number of Africans who see him as the person who best depicts unity.

β€œThank You so so so much to the MEGACY of NAMIBIA ?? for honoring me as their PAN AFRICAN ✊? ARTIST OF THE YEAR ? at the @namibianawards 2019 … I hope to see you soon,” wrote Mega.
