Social Media’s Reactions To Nicki Minaj Announcing Retirement From Music. Multi-award winning American rapper Nicki Minaj has announced that she is retiring from music.

Nicki has served over 10 years in the industry, broke records, won awards and accumulated a large number of fans – who are disappointed at this point. She has been dubbed the queen of rap on a number of occasions. In the journey of her music Nicki has been involved in a number of romantic relationships with the likes of Meek Mill, Drake and Safaree but now she has met someone she is willing to settle down with.

Last month of August the Anaconda hit-maker announced that she was married to her boyfriend Kenneth Petty who is also known as an ex convicted rapist and murderer. She even changed her social media user names to Mrs Patty. Now she is all prepared to retire and start a family.

“I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, ❌ in the box- cuz ain’t nobody checkin me. ✅ Love you for LIFE,” she wrote.

Fans had mixed reactions on the news, some were disappointed while others applauded her for taking time out to her self.

She apologized to her fans and promised to explain more on Queen Radio.

“I’m still right here. Still madly in love with you guys & you know that. In hindsight, this should’ve been a Queen Radio discussion & it will be. I promise u guys will be happy. No guests, just us talking about everything. The tweet was abrupt & insensitive, I apologize babe ,” she wrote.
