The good news has been one of the biggest achievements of the Azania rapper this year. It comes after his nomination at the upcoming SA Hip hop awards in the category of Best Lyricist. Winning it would make this year one of his best in the duration of his career.
On the question of how he landed the deal with Martell he took to Twitter to share that perseverance had a lot do it. Last year he sent a shout out to the brand on Twitter and nothing happened, a year later he is now part of the team.
“I tweeted @martell last year in February tryina be down. A year and a half later… we WORKING!
The lesson he hoped to teach others on this is that make something more about how much you want it not when.
“In other words… It ain’t always about when you want it. But rather about how much you want it,” he wrote.
