The single was certified Gold and then platinum about a week later. However, the legendary Zulu rappers have captivated the hearts of Mzansi with the release of their Ukhamba album.

Following the announcement that the two were joining forces for a collaborative album, anyone could see that this merger was a brilliant move. Having two of the most popular and fervently backed Zulu musicians collaborate on a project at the height of their careers is about as sure a thing as you can get.

The Ukhamba album contains 12 tracks, and Mzansi already has favourite tracks, indicating that the body of work has been well appreciated. Taking to Twitter, Mzansi expressed their excitement following the release of the album at midnight.

The project’s introduction appeared to have produced the desired first impression with most fans praising the artistic genius that was infused on it. Tracks such as Iskwele, Slow Jam Sase Bergville and Ilanga have received much praise from Mzansi.

Not only did Inkabi Zezwe leave their fans to enjoy the album on streaming platforms. The famed Zulu artists will give their fans an experience to engage with them through live performances. The album tour will begin on June 24th at the Sunbet Arena in Pretoria and ends in Durban on the 3rd of September 2023.
