Scoop Explains Why Kabelo’s Deal With Reebok Was As Good As Invalid. Scoop Makhathini has cracked for the first time this year and continued on to his suit of expressing raw views.
Recently Scoop’a online show under SlikourOnLife debuted. Titled Catching Waves the first guest was the one and only Supa Mega. The two covered a wide range of topics concerning Hip hop and secured deals. AKA touched on his partnership with Reebok which birthed a new collection of sneakers he named SneAKA. Complimenting his achievement he dubbed himself the first rapper to score such a deal with Reebok.
Fans reminded him and Scoop that Kwaito superstar Kabelo was actually the first SA celebrity to land a deal with Reebok. Makhathini replied by revealing that Kabelo didn’t actually do things as big as Kiernan with the brand. He states that they only used Kabelo’s name nothing more.
“He never went to the headquarters in boston to design and was not involved in the roll out.they just used his name,” wrote Scoop.
AKA and Kabelo haven’t commented yet.
