Cassper Remarks YFM Radio Station On The Number Of Times They Have Played #GoodForThat

Cassper Remarks YFM Radio Station On The Number Of Times They Have Played #GoodForThat. Radio air plays continue to be the big issue for most artists who not only struggle to get through but whose music is played once in a long while.

Cassper may be one of the most successful artists in South Africa but he has had issues with radio air-plays. He even revealed last year that in the 7 years of his career he never topped charts on the biggest radio stations. Fortunately for YFM the Move For Me rapper is slowly worming his way to the radio platforms.

Mufasa took to twitter to express his appreciation to the station, for actually being the only one that has played his single Good For That 2 times more than any other station.

“Yfm the biggest supporter for my new single #GoodForThat. They have played the song 2 times more than any other station so Shout out to them. I appreciate the support,” wrote Tsibip.

Back in 2017 he posed complaints on radio stations for not playing his music.

Former SABC Spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago told TshisaLIVE that playlists were decided by each station according to what they felt was appropriate for their audience. He replied to Nyovest through an emphasis that a song can be played when you submit it, it doesn’t matter who you are.

“It does not matter who you are or whether you are well-known, your music has to be submitted to a station for consideration. A committee will then look at a number of factors, including whether the song is any good and whether it fits in the target market of the station.”
