“DJ Maphorisa is someone that I look up to. He’s someone whose footsteps I think we should all follow. I think we advocate for the same thing even though he is at the top, but I get him a lot. Those little lives that people always find amusing are so real, and I relate to that. You can’t hate on this sht man. You just have to be inspired. I stand for the same things as he does. Good inspiration coming into the composition of this tape.”
