“Make sure you keep it clean when you mention my name,” K.O Reveals What Inspired This Line

“Make sure you keep it clean when you mention my name,” K.O Reveals What Inspired This Line. K.O is one of the rappers who have had his share of misfortunes in the industry, but the story is not on how he suffered instead how he rose from it all.

The Platinum selling rapper started off with his famous crew Teargas, as years went on there were disagreements that led to the separation. After the Teargas split, he established a label Cashtime Records which collapsed in a distasteful manner. For a while he took a break from the industry to regain himself.

When he was ready to get back, he dropped a few records one of them being The Warning with a line. “Make Sure You Keep it Clean When you Mention My Name, Don’t cross The Line, You’ll pay The Price For It

When a fan questioned if he was emotional while jotting down those lines he explained that “Back then, turned over a whole new leaf since late 2018. God is the greatest!”

On one of the interviews from earlier this year with Drum, the 30 year old expressed how the dismantle of Cashtime affected him.

“I felt after everyone had left I was the one exposed to public scrutiny, which made me look like the bad guy because I was always at the forefront.”

K.O stated how he regrets keeping quiet at the time. “And I didn’t manage the scrutiny properly. I didn’t realise that my silence was feeding the gossip. I kick myself for not clearing the air. But we’ve moved on.”
