How Boity Lashed Out On Judgmental Views To Those Buying Alcohol Instead Of Investing Their Money

How Boity Lashed Out On Judgmental Views To Those Buying Alcohol Instead Of Investing Their Money. Monday morning felt like Christmas for most people who have been waiting to buy alcohol.

Ever since the lockdown commenced back in April, alcohol retailers closed down. It has been two months of great thirst for most of South Africans. Proof of that was evident when lines were as a long as a Nile river. Except not everyone was pleased at the sight of people lining up to buy alcohol.

Certain views circulated online judging that people are setting themselves back for using their money on booze. The likes of poet and activist Ntsiki Mazwai amongst many shared how disappointed she was.

“Covid has exposed that black people don’t have goals, direction and visions for themselves. They just follow orders. We are just sheep. And that’s that,” wrote Mazwai.

Boity made it clear as well that she saw nothing wrong with people stacking up alcohol.

“So I must leave 6pack ya R150 and go buy a house with that money? ? Just leave people to spend their money as they please, man. Jeez,” Boity replied to a tweep.

At this moment the top trending topic on social is on the fall of alcohol.
