He has gotten multiple diamond selling singles and albums as well throughout his career. The rapper was discovered by Dr Dre when he was still young after one of his interns had given him a CD by Eminem.
Prior to this, Eminem had been trying to get Hip Hop veteran Fat Joe to listen to his music with no luck. Fat Joe has discovered artists like Big Pun who he helped in the early stage of his career.
He was recently in an interview on 99 Jamz 99.1 FM where he spoke about how Eminem gave him his demo six times but slept on the rapper. “Eminem out here in Miami, he gave me his demo like six different times,” said the rapper. He then went on Twitter responding to an article about the incident saying that it was the biggest mistake of his life.
