With the track’s success in mind, Priddy had the idea to celebrate with a remix. “I just wanted to honour Ntjaka’s success,” he told DJ Speedsta. “It’s gold right now, but technically it’s platinum.”

But this remix was destined to take a twist. The spark for something entirely new was lit during an unexpected meeting between Priddy and fellow rapper Sjava. Enter Cassper Nyovest, who popped by to say hello. Sjava, ever the opportunist, immediately invited Cassper into the mix, and before long, the remix transformed into a full-fledged collaboration.

“We had some other artists in mind for the remix, but Cassper was the only one who came through with his verse,” Priddy recalled. However, Priddy saw an opportunity to reinvent the track altogether. He indicated that the remix wasn’t going to work with just Cassper. So, we thought, let’s flip the whole thing and create something completely new.

That’s when Cassper threw in a surprise: he suggested adding a rising star from the Vaal named Fabulous to the track. “Cassper hit me up, like, ‘There’s this kid from the Vaal, Fabulous. He’s got some serious talent. We should get him on the hook,’” Priddy shared. At the time, Priddy hadn’t heard of Fabulous, but Cassper’s endorsement was enough to spark his curiosity. Together, the trio began to craft a track blending fresh talent and seasoned stars.
