Despite everything he has accomplished in his name, there are still many who do not engage in what he has done. Taking to Twitter, Zingah praised Phori’s music catalogue stating that no one can compete with the artist on hit for hit. “Not a single artist in this country could see Porry hit for hit,” tweeted Zingah.

One of the tweeps disagreed with Zingah, claiming that Phori doesn’t have a song and instead rides on the coattails of others. The tweep went on to say that all of DJ Maphorisa’s tracks are collaborations with other musicians, and he doesn’t have a single of his own. “He doesn’t have a song, always riding people’s coat tails, all his songs ke group work, show me a hit that is only him,” read the tweet.

In response, Zingah denied the assertion, claiming that the tweep’s claims lacked foundation and were simply parroting what they had heard from others. “You don’t know what you’re talking about, you’re just saying things you’ve heard other people say,” Zingah tweeted.

The Amapiano sensation has called out for Mzansi to give him his flowers whilst he is alive. Phori said that he suffered with most of the amapiano artists to be where the genre is right now.

I suffered for the kids to eat proper food “the music industry”,Remember that if i was not there the game will still be the same. I took a big sacrifice fighting for yall Amapiano guys are all eating now,a dream come true Please appreciate me while im still kicking danko,” he tweeted.

DJ Maphorisa started working as a producer at Kalawa Jazmee Records and has since collaborated with several of the top local and international acts, including Mafikizolo, Wizkid, Kwesta, Cassper, and others. He has never restricted himself to a particular genre and has had some of the biggest singles in the nation.
