How SA Hip Hop Reacted To Yanga Chief Winning Hip Hop Album Of The Year Award At The SAMAs26! Yanga Chief’s album ‘Becoming A Pop Star’ was awarded the best Hip Hop album at the SAMAs26 Wednesday night.
When the nominations came out a few months ago, Yanga received criticism on why his album was nominated to begin with and now it’s more than just a nomination. Some critics believed Nadia Nakai’s NadiaNaked deserved the nod instead.
An excited Yanga Chief took to twitter reacting to his big win saying he’s forever indebted to SA Hip Hop.
“I just want to take this moment to let everyone know that I believe in GOD!! My story is too long to tweet, I’m forever indebted to SA HIP HOP. To the moon we go. Just became a POPSTAR!!! Baby! Thank You South Ah!! #BestHipHop#SAMA26,” Yanga tweeted.
