Like most counties in South Africa we have two rival teams which is always a a big deal when put against each other, Kaizer Chiefs (Amakhosi) and Pirates (Buccaneers).

Hip hop artist Sjava recently revealed that he used to be a die hard Kaizer Chiefs fan. In time, he found himself favouring the club less because most of the legends he admired died or retired.

The 34 years-old award winner simplay said “I used to support chiefs but the players i used to support or that made me support abasalidlali ibhola abanye sebashona.”

Abangani singer used to be a soccer player who chose music as his part.

“I’ve always known that it would be soccer or music for me. Even here, I used to play for Hillbrow Action Killers. Our coach was Bab’ Khuzwayo. I played soccer and even went to Wits and trained there. I played for a team in Sandalwood as well. Growing up my time was taken up by either soccer or music,” he said speaking to TshisaLIVE.
