Crazy Lu’s Family Opens Up About Travelling To Cambodia For His Cremation Ceremony

Crazy Lu’s Family Open Up About Travelling To Cambodia For His Cremation Ceremony. Earlier this month South Africa lost yet another one of it’s own, rapper and former YoTV presenter Luther Cohen famously known as Crazy Lu.

At the time of his death Lu was in Cambodia, south east of Asia. He had been living there for the past three years. Sad as it was to deal with his passing, his family was compelled to travel all the way to Cambodia from Cape Town.

The family of the rapper travelled to Cambodia shortly after his death, where they held a Buddhist cremation ceremony.

“Myself and my wife landed back in Johannesburg at 7am (on Thursday) with Luther’s ashes. My mother stayed in Cambodia to wrap up his affairs. She will arrive at 7am tomorrow (Friday) morning,” his brother, Marvin Cohen, told TshisaLIVE.

He added that the family was “physically and mentally exhausted” as they were still trying to come to terms with Crazy Lu’s death.

Details of a memorial service will be shared soon.

Lu died of an apparent asthma attack two weeks ago.
