Saudi Shares His Dream Celebration For A Grammy Award Glory. The South African music scene has increasingly become a prominent presence at the esteemed Grammy Award ceremony, with numerous artists from Mzansi achieving international recognition and emerging victorious on the global stage.
As it stands, most South African artists have a dream to win a Grammy Award following in the footsteps of previous winners Zakes Bantwini, Miriam Makeba, Wouter Kellerman and many others. Even though no SA rappers have been on the international stage to celebrate a Grammy Award, there is still so much enthusiasm amongst most rappers to win a Grammy, and one of them is Saudi.
Taking to Twitter (X), one of Saudi‘s fans believed that one day the famed rapper would make SA hip-hop proud by winning a Grammy. The sentiments come from the fact that the rapper’s music has touched many hearts and inspired many people mostly the kids from the township. “@Saudi_rsa getting that grammy, check,” read the post.
In response, Saudi said that once he wins the Grammy Award he is going to parade it to the whole township. The rapper went on and send his congratulations to the Amapiano and R&B superstar Tyla who recently won the prestigious music award after her hit song “WATER” became a global phenomenon. “And I’m parading it all through the Townships soon as they send it ❤️ Congratulations @Tyllaaaaaaa 🇿🇦 WE 🆙🏆🥇 #MSOTRADONTDIE 🤕LONG. NIGHTS,” Saudi said.
The There She Goes hitmaker has expressed his desire to keep on making good music even after recently dropping his album Msotra Dont Die. “The greatest reward (after crafting and releasing great music) is creating some more great music. I love the process so much. I’m literally addicted to it,” he said.
