The rape allegations that came to the public’s knowledge since the last week of February are still trending to this day. There have been a number of updates concerning the saga. Sjava remained true to his innocence through statement releases while Lady Zamar kept mum. It was then stated by others that the Collide singer dropped the rape charges – there’s not yet a legitimate source to such.
The Before singer was unfortunately cancelled by a number of events that were set to take place, including Cape Town Jazz Festival, DSTV Music Awards and Mpumalanga beauty pageants concert.
The cancellation was due to the ongoing case of the rape allegations brought forward. To his luck, Televison and Radio airplays remained undisturbed. SABC explained that it won’t cancel the award winner until he is found guilty of the rape he is accused of.
People say he is serving a living God or his ancestors are just there working in the best of his favour. The shows are all postponed until further notice. This is due to the Corona Virus hitting the country so bad.
“In light of growing concerns around the spread of Coronavirus, the Cape Town International Jazz Festival management regrets to inform the public that this year’s event has been postponed for the foreseeable future as a public health precautionary measure,” Announced Cape Town IJF.
All upcoming events have been postponed for similar reasons.
