“Skhanda Republic Is The Best SA Hip Hop Album Of All Time” – AKA! AKA and K.O have worked together on a couple of songs over the years and whilst their relationship seem to have it’s moments, the respect for each other stays the same.

One of their best collaborations is undoubtedly Run Jozi which won them Best Collaboration Award in 2014 at the SA Hip Hop Awards. It seems that’s where Supa Mega’s respect for K.O was birthed.

In a recent interview, AKA was not shy to admit that K.O did a better job on Run Jozi, adding that when he heard him rap his verse for the first time, he knew he was in ‘deep sh*t’. “He totally rinsed me man, Yeaah…you win some and lose some. I had already wrote them [verses], l couldn’t rewrite,” AKA admitted.

AKA added that he’s very grateful to have worked with the Skhanda King. “For me he’s on the Mount Rushmore of South African Hip Hop. He’s a hero… I feel blessed to have worked with him and I’ve worked with the best of the best. In my opinion, Skhanda Republic is the best South African Hip Hop album of all time. I think Skhanda Republic is the best SA album ever made,” AKA declared.
