Rouge Announces The Feature List For ‘Popular’ Remix! SA Hip Hop loves a good remix featuring nothing less than 3 other rappers. Award-winning rapper Rouge has collaborated with a wide range of rappers and produced singles that have been well received by fans over the years.

The rapper has collaborated with the likes of Amanda Black, Locnville, AKA and Ms Cosmo. The Congolese native is no stranger to features as well, with her first feature being on AKA’s Baddest and now she is set to release a remix for her track Popular with an extensive list of features.

Rouge’s Popular Remix features the likes of Costa Titch, Hanna and Tumi Tladi. Check out the full list below.

Blxckie

19-year-old Durban native Blxckie has made waves with his track featuring LucasRaps Big Time Sh’lappa released in November 2020. The young rapper has collaborated with Cassper Nyovest, Dr Peppa and Champagne69. The rapper recently appeared on The Wooden Stool for an intimate performance.

Phantom Steeze

Tembisa Born Phantom Steeze has been known for sharing the stage with international hip-hop artists Lil Wayne and Kanye West. His local collaboration list stretches from Cassper Nyovest to Tumi Tladi, and Ntukuza to Manu WorldStar. Phantom Steeze released his second project in December 2020.

Costa Titch

Two-time SAMA Award Winning Costa Titch is Rouge’s third feature on Popular. Titch’s debut album Made in Africa has been received well with the rapper reaching 2.5 million streams in a month for the project. The rapper currently has the Areyeng music video out from Made in Africa.

Tumi Tladi

Tumi Tladi released his single Basadi in 2020, the track did so well that he collaborated with Rouge and Moozlie to drop the remix of the song and a music video. The Spotlight rapper also released an EP titled Excuse Me for Being Me in 2020.

Hanna

Hailing from Cape Town, Hanna has been on the SA hip-hop radar since 2018 while still studying. The young rapper recently dropped her debut mixtape titled The Girl in the Durag, that features Luna Florentino, Mikyla and Msimisi.

Wichi 1080

24-year-old Wichi 1080 is the producer responsible for the Popular Remix. The producer also produced the original track featuring Emtee. Wichi 1080 has produced for KLY, Priddy Ugly, and worked with DJ Slique. He has also produced a track for Wizkid titled Poppin It.

The track is set to drop on the 22^nd of January 2021.
